JR Harley Kloton
JR, a Jack Russell Terrier, was born August 21, 2003. JR came to St. Ann's during the month of November, 2003.

He was given to Fadda Mike by a Jack Russell Breeder that knew Fadda Mike and knew that, at that time, Fadda had a dog that he got from an adoption center. One day that dog's owner came to the rectory to make a phone call, and found him after Fadda took care of him for 8 months. Unfortunately, Fadda had to give him up. It was very heart breaking for everyone in the rectory, but especially for Fadda.

But this breeder knew what had happened, and told Fadda he had one puppy that had gotten mixed up and the breeder didnÕt know who his father was; plus he was the runt of the litter. The breeder felt he couldn't sell him?, so he gave JR to Fadda and told him, "the dog would be his forever, and no one could take him away." Fadda was very happy to have JR, and JR was happy to have a home.

In January 2004, JR weighed 6 lbs. 10oz. In just over a year, at his last weigh-in, he weighed a whopping 11 lbs!

JR loves tug-of-war, chasing balls, going for walks, chewing on rawhides, doggie treats, and, of course, giving kisses.

JR loves to greet parishioners and guests when they enter the rectory. Whenever anyone comes to the door, JR is the first one there to say hello. Sometimes he comes with a ball, or a favorite toy, thinking that they came to play with him. He is soo loved by all the parishioners, and everyone in the rectory. JR is the perfect rectory dog, and a great addition to the Church of St. Ann.
